Green 'stache

The kiddos received a St. Patty's card from someone very special in our lives.  Attached to the card was this wonderful green 'stache.  They had a blast playing with it!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We had some St. Patty's Day visitors at our house.  He/She/They came when no one was home.
Do you know who they are?  They left a hint...

They did this in the boys' room. Hung some clothes and made a fort on the bunk bed.  (they aslo made a little fort in the girls' room

Basketball Fever

Our house has been hit hard by...

Basketball Fever!

Little Background:  for the basketball teams from my school (where I work) to make it to the state tournament, they have to make their way through two rounds of playoff.  We have districts, then regionals and then state.  We didn't make it to many regular season games because they start after li'l kids bedtime.  The tournaments, however, have varying start times, some of which fit nicely into our schedule.  So we have ventured out with all of the kiddos.  They love it!  We've been able to go watch the boys team and the girls team play.  For the most part, they sit in their seats and watch the game (unless gma and gpa are there, then the li'l kids feel the need to climb back and forth between all of us).  They do ask for popcorn as soon as we walk in, but they sit with their boxes and munch away and watch the game.

Well, yesterday was pretty decent out and Cayden was out playing basketball when I got home with the lil kids.  So we got out their hoop and everyone had a blast!

Aleah is in the light pink jacket, Cayley is in the dark pink/purple colored jacket, Brycey is in the blue and red jacket and Cayden in the blue/black/gray jacket.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to You from Us!
L to R: Bryce, Cayden, Aleah and Cayley
In case you are saying to yourself...
"Hmmmm, those are really cute outfits,
I wonder where they got them."
I will answer that because I am quite proud of the outfits.
I made them myself!

I'm learning in the blog world of crafters, I must give credit where credit is due:
To make the skirt:  I followed the skirt tutorial found here
To make the boys tie shirts:  I followed the tutorial found here
And here's some of our many attempts at getting a "good" picture

This is a combination of "show me your muscles" and "funny faces"

And now, we let the fun begin...
Aleah saying, "here I am world!"

Bryce doing a little boogie

??????????????????????

We all fall down!

Uh, oh. We lost one!
Bryce, "I right here! Cheese!"

Adventures in Snow

We ventured out in the snow (well, last month sometime).  I heard from a relative that they needed some updates, so here they are :)

The little kids kept asking to play in snow, walk in snow.  So we decided it was time to let them experiment in the snow.  It was so much work getting the little kids ready to go outside.  I would say at least 20 minutes to get them all ready (of course Cayden can do it himself just fine).  Then we maybe stayed out for about 20 minutes and headed back in. The would only walk on the sidewalk and driveway, and not in any snow.
