Li'l Kids Dance Class

The triplets are taking dance classes now. They so desperately want to do everything Cayden does, but they are not old enough for, well, any of it. I recently found out that one of my former students started her own dance studio, and we are now taking classes from her. The triplets are not the best listeners. Wait, let me rephrase, they listen well, they just aren't "doing" things yet. Wait, let me rephrase again, Bryce does some things, the girls just main watch and walk.

Maybe they will inherit some awesome dance moves from Scott's side of the family. I hear Uncle Matt was quite the dancer back in the day.  :)

Aleah is in pink

Bryce doing his kicks, Cayley looking back at him trying to figure out what to do

Great form Bryce!  Aleah and Cayley walking, Aleah looking outside.

Waiting for the next set of directions to not really follow

Bryce can do the Bear Crawl

Cayley decided that the Bear Crawl looked OK to try.
The other moms at class told me that it is "normal" for the "new kids" to just mainly walk, and they assured me it would get better with more classes.  We'll see!

1st Day of 1st Grade

First Day of 1st Grade we're all pretty excited!  I skipped my teaching on Cayden's first day so I could take him to school on his first day.  And of course so I could torture him by taking his picture on this special day.

 Here's Cayden's picture for me!
Some day he'll not be happy with me for posting that, but for now, it's all in fun.

Here... This one is more like it!
He is loving first grade!

Doggie Love

While Cayden was off riding the four-wheeler, Li'l Miss Cayley was having a blast throwing a ball to the "puppy"  Cayley has purple pants and Aleah in the pink shirt.  I tried to capture the smile on Cayley's face during all of this, she was loving it!  Really made me question if we should get another dog.  The jury is still out on that...

Girls and dog, couldn't be happier

The girls were having so much fun watching the dog chase the ball

I think she was yelling at the dog to come back.

Four-Wheeling

While in Billings for a wedding, we stayed with my cousins Kelly and John.  They have some fun "toys" that they shared with our children, like...

A FOUR-WHEELER!!!

Safety First!!!  Helmet, CHECK!
Cousin Alex helping Cayden with his helmet
How much can a 6 year old learn in a 2 minute lesson???  He was very attentive!
Cousin John (Alex's dad) and Cousin Alex giving a quick driving lesson
Nothing is better than a little hands on experience, with the help of an older cousin.
Cousin Alex is taking Cayden for a spin around the yard.
Time for mom to have a slight anxiety attack.  Her "baby" off driving by himself...
Cayden
And the li'l kids were not to be forgotten...
Cayley and Daddy

Bryce and Daddy. Don't let him face fool you, Bryce had fun!

Aleah and Daddy
And if you are wondering... Yes, Daddy went slowly, probably because this mom was out watching and was a nervous wreck!

Cousin Meagan's Wedding

My lovely cousin Meagan was married over Labor Day weekend.  Unfortunately, Aleah came down with a fever and was miserable.  I spent most of the time with her, and Scott was with the kids snapping some pictures.  Things were so chaotic, we didn't even get a good picture of the Bride and Groom.  But believe me, they were both stunning!
Ashton (with his back towards us), and Adison and Cayden dancing together.  They both look thrilled!

Cayley and Bryce  (to toot my own horn, I made Cayley's dress. Aleah had a matching one but light blue in color).

Cousin Kendall (maid of honor) with Bryce and Cayden
And this is how most of the pictures turned out.  BLURRY!  If any one has advice, please help me photograph my active children!

 Cayley and Cayden = Priceless!!!
