Cousin Meagan's Wedding

My lovely cousin Meagan was married over Labor Day weekend.  Unfortunately, Aleah came down with a fever and was miserable.  I spent most of the time with her, and Scott was with the kids snapping some pictures.  Things were so chaotic, we didn't even get a good picture of the Bride and Groom.  But believe me, they were both stunning!
Ashton (with his back towards us), and Adison and Cayden dancing together.  They both look thrilled!

Cayley and Bryce  (to toot my own horn, I made Cayley's dress. Aleah had a matching one but light blue in color).

Cousin Kendall (maid of honor) with Bryce and Cayden
And this is how most of the pictures turned out.  BLURRY!  If any one has advice, please help me photograph my active children!

 Cayley and Cayden = Priceless!!!

Vote OAK PARK!!

Coca Coloa Live Positively has a contest going where they will grant $100,000 to the park that receives the most votes online.  Oak Park was destroyed by the recent flooding Minot experienced.  My kids LOVE Oak Park, so let me tell you, I have been doing my fair share of voting!  I would LOVE to see Oak Park and the community of Minot win this.

Click on the link below to help us out!
You can vote as many times as you want in one day

Here are some of the pictures I uploaded to the voting site (5 votes for every picture).

Soccer!

Gorgeous night Thursday night for our first "real" soccer game.  I don't know how real it was because I don't know who kept score (besides Cayden's Daddy!).  I don't think our team would have come out the winners if we did keep score, but it was LOTS of FUN to watch!
Aleah, Cayden and Cayley watching Cayden's teammates played.  They played 4 on 4, so Cayden was waiting his turn.

Cayden (Orange Shirt/Green shorts) chasing after the ball

Cayden (orange shirt).  LOVE this picture!  Look at the concentration.
Needless to say, after his rotations (they played 5 minutes and then rotated players), Cayden came back sweaty and needing a drink.  These kids just run and run and run for those 5 minutes (well, most of them do anyway).  Like I said, it was sooooo fun to watch.  One of the boys on Cayden's team was confused and thought it was tackle football mixed with soccer and wrap up a child from the other team and bring him down.  So funny!  The parents on the side talked how the goal nets need to be bigger.  The kids would kick the ball in the general direction of the net, and miss by 2-3 feet.  Cayden did score a goal or two (not that we were counting), and had one bounce off the side pole of the net.  We really had fun!

Spring Yard Clean-up

The Easter Bunny gave the kiddos a yard kit including purple rake, blue hoes, and green shovels.  We put them to good use this week!

(Notice the snow in the neighbors across the street?!?  Yes, we had a snow storm/blizzard warning April 30th!  Just wanted to share that with our friends and relatives in the South!)

Bryce, Cayley (purple jacket), Aleah (pink jacket) and Cayden

Makes me think...

of there were 10 in the bed and the little one said... ,
Except here "There are 4 in the bath and the big one said,
'Move over, I'm squished!'"  Although, if you know the lil kids,
they don't always listen (imagine that!) so no one moved!
I think it's safe to say, the kids are getting a little too big to all be in the bath!

Bad Mommy moment:  I don't know who is who for the girls!
Edited:  I made one of the pictures bigger and I THINK I figured out who is who...
Aleah is on the Left and Cayley is on the Right.
Every time I think I get their faces and facial expressions down to knowing who is who, I end up confused again!

Easter

We had quite the adventure over Easter Weekend.  My sister arranged for her family, my family and our parents to meet at a resort in MN.  It was a blast, granted we had some struggles.  Cayley and Bryce apparently drank a little too much chlorine water from the water park the first night we were there.  Just as we were about to turn the lights off for the night, we were startled by the sound of Bryce's tummy deciding it didn't want the chlorine water in it anymore, if you know what I mean...

We got to know the night/early morning housekeeping staff quite well, as they had to clean/disinfect our floor a couple of times plus bring clean bed linens and towels a couple more times.  Bryce was up most of the night, and then Cayley started in the morning.  Lucky for us, it seemed to only last through mid-morning, and things got much better as the day went on.  We were all better the rest of the weekend...

(Side-note:  Aleah then got sick Thursday after we got back and had to stay home.  Cayden luckily never did get sick at all -knock on wood!)

Here's some pictures of our weekend...

Snack Day

Today was Cayden's snack day at school.  About once a month we get to bring 19 snacks (and drinks) for all of his kindergarten friends.  At our school, we are still able to bring in homemade items (I've heard some of places that only allow pre-packaged foods).

Here are some pictures of Cayden's yummy snack!
Don't they just look yummy!
Here's the note that accompanied Cayden snacks
And not to leave the lil' kids out, we made some extras for them to take to school also!
